Change the activity manager
Important: before proceeding, make sure you are familiar with the settings for Conditional triggers and Stage transition triggers.
In the Triggers and actions block, click the icon and a floating window will be displayed:
Click Select and choose the action type Change activity status

A new section will open below

Change activity status
In the New status field
we have the following options:
Not started: the activity status will remain Not started, regardless of its current status.
In progress: the activity status will remain In progress, regardless of its current status.
Completed: the activity status will remain Completed, regardless of its current status.
Canceled: the activity status will remain Canceled, regardless of its current status.
Ignore required fields: when the switch is enabled, it will allow the activity status to be changed automatically, ignoring the required fields.
After configuring it, click the Save button to save the settings. The action will be executed according to the logic of the configured trigger type. In this example, we used the conditional trigger type. As shown in the Events column, if the Simple alternative (dynamic field) is equal to Alternative A, the action is executed.
To see whether the trigger was fired, access the Change logs card in the activity details.
