Update a dynamic field of the legal document

Important: before proceeding, make sure you are familiar with the settings for Conditional Triggers and Stage Transition Triggers.

In the Triggers and actions block, click the icon and a floating window will be displayed:

Click Select and choose the action type Update a dynamic field in the legal document:

Next, a new section will be opened below:

Activity field: you can select a dynamic field that will be part of the legal document.

Legal document type: you can select the type of legal document.

Field to be updated in legal documents: you can choose which field will be replaced by the field selected in Activity field.

After configuring it, click the Save button to record the settings. The action will be executed according to the logic of the configured trigger type. In this example, we used the conditional trigger type. As shown in the Events column, if Simple alternative (dynamic field) is equal to Alternative A, the action is executed.

To see whether the trigger was fired, go to the Change logs card in the activity details.
