Case progress

A legal case involves a request by the plaintiff to resolve a conflict. From that point on, the judge will determine the submission of arguments, the production of evidence, and will make a decision recognizing the right of one of the parties. 

With this understanding, the case is initiated and filed. Following that, the procedural progress takes place.

It is worth noting that the legal understanding of the step-by-step of a case, with its respective petitions, preliminary injunction, interlocutory appeal, service of process on the defendant, defense, evidence, judgment, appeal, and further appeals, is the responsibility of the area manager.

Set up progress types

To create/add progress types, open the main menu, select the Legal module, Settings and click the Progress types option.

On the next screen, click the Add progress type button:

A new Add progress type block will be displayed:

To proceed with creating a progress type, the following items must be filled in:

Progress type: By selecting this option, you can define a title for the progress entry.

Description: By selecting this option, you can provide a brief description regarding the purpose of the progress type.

After filling in the fields, click the Save button to register it in the system.
