General concepts of access profiles
Access profiles are view and permission settings that a given user has, allowing policies to be configured to grant or deny user access.
Thus, it is possible to create logic within the system by linking an access profile to a specific area, department, segment, etc.
Another example: an organization with 15 managers, who oversee 50 stock clerks performing the same role (operations) every day. If you wanted to group them so they have the same permissions and view in the system, how could you proceed?
In this case, a specific access profile would be created: “Inventory.” Next, the views and permissions that this group needs in its daily activities would be linked. With this, whenever a new user is registered in the system and has the same functions (responsibilities) as this profile (Inventory), it would be enough to link them to the corresponding profile. This way, the system allows each user’s access to be configured and delimited according to their area of work.
